How many miles should I go before the first oil change on a new H3?

Synthetic or regular?

Damn, but not to sound redundant. I love your avatar. First change 1000 miles. Then 3000-5000 thereafter. Synthetic.

 

I changed mine at 500 and every 3000 or so. I know it's over protective, but I can't help it.

Perfectly sound advise by all that replied here...Mine: first 1000 miles, then 4000 miles later, then every 5000 there after..Cheap insurance!
