I pulled the trigger today...7" fabtech lift & steering stabilizer! I'm still debating bigger tie rods..know I need spacers...what is gonna hit without spacers? Wheel wells or worse?

I'd hold off putting the steering stabilizer on w/ the lift. If somethings wobbling, its worn out or not in balance. The stabilizer will cover that up which you dont want. Make sure everythings good then put it on. Its really not even needed even w/ 40's.

My point is its not needed. If the front end is wobbling around, something else is wrong. Don't mask the issue w the stabilizer. I'd leave it off just so you know that whoever installs your lift did it right and/or some component isnt worn. You can bolt that on yourself a couple weeks later while you go back over every bolt on the lift and retorque to spec.

Don't forget about checking everything out in a few weeks!

Ok last question I promise....I plan on buying wheel adapters instead of spacers. Even though I only need 1/2 inch they do not make them in that size and if I go anything smaller then 2" I will need the studs to be shorter...will 2" adapters make my truck look funny? How far will my wheels stick out?

Fabtech will already move the wheels out couple inches from stock, if you want to go another 2" on top of that- they're really going to be sticking out there.

Guess my only concern would be how **** your local cops are going to be twards open wheels (fenders not covering the wheels).

The guy installing my lift said NO WAY! He Said it will look rediculous...told me to get the 1/2" spacers and he will change the studs if necessary... Gonna mock up a 1/2" space tomorrow & see how much thread is left...if not enoughf I found longer threaded ones already which isn't that much money but splitting the hub bearings which equals more bs & money/labor ...I will know more tomorrow & will post if there is enoughf thread on the stud to safely mount my rims....my lugs sit way in on the rim...I am hopeing there is enoughf...
