Default Off Roaders FYI...

Just wanted to drop a note for people who are planning to off road... I would like to down the road but did not fully understand the rocker protectors / side rails when I bought it and it will be a 500 mistake for me in the end... My dealer runs weekend Hummer getaways but to go they require the rocker protectors and the under body guards... The problem is, I bought the side rail step tubes and they will have to go to install the rocker protectors... For the rocker protectors they also sell side steps that can be removed for off roading and had I known then I would have gone that route all together... Hope it helps someone...

Yes mine will too... They will actually swap them on and off every time for free but if I knew then what I know now I would have opted for the protectors with the steps instead of the nurf bars to make it all that much easier... Just a lesson learned but at another 600 bucks not the best way to learn it...

I thought the rocker panel protectors were a standard item and not an option? The H2 comes standard.

Manik makes a nice set of aftermarket rocker panel guards that are able to accept the manik nerf bars as removable, i just bought the set for my h3 on the internet for $399 for the 4 pc set
