yes, take off your sidesteps. even though they may look like just regular dirt roads and you'll get home and say "what the hell did i take them off for?", it's always best to have them off and safe than have them on and have an "oh $hit!" moment. better safe than sorry. and i really think you should go - it will give you a new appreciation of your truck and your own capabilities. just remember to pay attention to your spotter - unless he's already finished the case of beer he got for whatever he just put on someone's truck - he'll keep you away from the scratches and dents. [sm=alcoholic.gif]but you might want to have a portable breathalyzer with you just in case . . . . .

Tina, Your going to need to have lunch and anything you need to drink with you. We usually stop at a WaWa on the way and get a sandwhich and snacks.
Everything else we have, tow straps, first aid kit, fire ext. (Am I scaring you yet?).

These are easy dirt roads I take off my steps just in case, you will not need to air down your tires or even put it 4 Wheel drive Lo. Bring a camera, too.

I have not heard from Steve....

Tina you will be fine... it's sugar sand mostly.... The tightest trail we go onout there would clear my mirrors unfolded... some light scratches for me usually... they always buff out...

Scott.... There is always mud....

If anybody wants to come back to my house afterwards we can grill.... or we can grab something at a nice pizza place up the road near Wharton... They have the best Chicken Cheesesteaks...
