Default Off to the Hospital we go

So, remember I told you guys about my wife's leg? She called me in tears this morning saying she can't move her leg. She pulled a goine (sp) muscle a couple of weeks ago we believe, but it's so bad now she can't move her leg at all, andeven when it's still, it's throbbing pain.I think she pulled it on our new recliner since that's when this all started.

So, why am I here you ask? She's putting on her make-up to go to the ER

I had to do a 360 on the way to work this morning. I'll let you know what happens. Hopefully it's nothing major.

this is not my fault...I told her to stretch before we got to the hard sections of the Karma-Sutra.[8D]

Hope she feels better bro!

Groin? pulls are painful, and take a while to heal completely. Hockey player's worst nightmare, it happens trying to stay onside stretching one leg to keep your foot over the blue line til the puck clears. Has she been playing Hockey?

Yes......hope she feels better.....soon.

Happens to horse riders also. Can be very, very painful. Hope that she feels better soon.

She partially tore a ligament in her right leg by her groine, or her groine (sp). She couldn't even walk it hurt so much. They gave her extra strength Vicotine and XS Motrin. Now she's sick from the Vicotine they gave her but it's wearing off so we are going to eat and see if she can take the Motrin. They said she was lucky it didn't tear completely and apparently happened because of her trying to close the newdouble-size recliner by herself with her legs which I told her not to do [&o] She has to get a follow-up in 2 weeks and might need PT. We'll see. She can't get in and out of the truck so well, but she should be fine for the trip.

Amazing how dirty the house gets when she can't walk and I'm a neat freak, well, sometimes. At least while she layed in pain I was able to plant two of our three new trees. That made her feel better at least.

Anyway Thanks for asking. I'll be back at work on the forum tomorrow.

Which ligament?

I tore my PCL in September, and have still not fully recovered.

Takes a long time[:@]

I don't know. I'll have to look on the papers. It's her right leg right where your groine muscle is.

Since this is the third time (two for the ER) that this has happened. I'm wondering if I should have our Doc set up a CT scan for her to see if there is any damage. I don't know if there is much they could do for her anyway if it is something more.
