Default OEM Wheel Color?

Im getting my H3 OEM wheels powder coated black next week but i have to decide if I want gloss or flat black. Gloss would look nice but I think flat black would have a meaner look. Anybody ever see flat? I cant find any pictures of it on an h3

Both look good... the slight shiny on the stock black H3T steel wheels looks great.... the satin flat look on my XD revolvers.... looks great...

I don't wheel with anyone with H3 flat wheels... but the look is going to be similar to the rockstars....

what color is your vehicle... that might be the difference...

First, Welcome from MI.

It all depends on what you plan on doing with the rig and where you live. Salt, mud and other stuff is really hard to clean off of a flat black surface due to the pits (texture) that are inharent(sp) in the flat black paint. They also "mar" a lot easier.

good point.... local conditions might make it a nightmare... but hopefully the powdercoat might make that better...

my XD's are wash and walk away....

EVEN my door jams are cleaner than some people's refrigerator....

I buffed scratches for 7 hours.... using 11 different products....

Hey, I have nothing against a clean rig. In fact, ours are clean all the time (well maybe not the first day back after a wheeling trip). I "super" clean what ever HUMMER is going wheeling so when we show up to wheel everyone who does not know me says "that thing is too clean, he don't wheel it". We both know that is not true at all!

First off, welcome!

What color is your H3? Flat might look better with some color versus others. Also pictures of your truck would help to see what kind of accesories and stuff you have now.

I've always had a strange fascination with matte colors... I say go for the flat black just so I can see pictures!
