are they that weak? i figured if you take stuff pretty slow, you would be alright. Just don't go "baja running" through stuff. How much are replacement tie rods, and are there upgrades available?

 

Looks like tons of fun! You can still get the Eaton locker, I hear that installing it allows you to lock the rear at any time not just in 4low. Tires make a huge difference too I may go with the BFG Muds next time.

 

The more rubber you have on the ground the more stress you are placing on the tie rods. Slow and easy will save you lots of heartache but if you put bigger tires on the truck you increase the probability of over stressing something. They do have upgrade suspension parts that will help.
