Can't believe no one on the forum owns a hood light pod?
Like the Xenon or the Chinese fiberglass one, or Russian one, etc?
Looking for advice on which one to buy, etc!

 

What are you looking to do with them?
Are they just for the look or are you looking to actually improve offroading lighting.
I'd argue to get a light bar than one of those.

 

For looks mainly, as I can't run a light bar on top due to height requirements to fit in my garage. So for looks. Anyone have one for sale or any experience with the various models of hood light pods out there?

 

This was on my deuce when i bought it. I like it as i've never seen one on another h2. I did see one on the front of every boat my parents ever owned. Lol. It gets alot of attention. People cant figure out if its a snorkel or light. Anyways it moves up and down and turns 360 degrees. Made by Stryker and are around $200 for the one with wireless remote. I know its not a pod light but it would solve your height clearances. Food for thought.

This is the main producer (as far as I can tell for the russian hummer club) of parts here. I suggest you look at the site using google chrome etc as it can translate most of it (albeit badly). The prices are very attractive versus some of the offerings i've seen elsewhere. You'd have to just sort out shipping though (or come over!).
