My wifewants me to get her a H1 the one I was looking at didnt have CTIS, now is that like the cheap model and if it is, is that particular model have less capabileties or is it worst off road, is the same thing with no CTIS??? I dont think it should but I just want to be sure before I by it for her. thank you

 

You could order one specially w/out CTIS - but it had to be ordered that way.

 

AMG made some Hummers without CTIS but not that many. They were trying to reach a lower price point but then discovered that most people wanted the CTIS anyway. It was one of the unique characteristics of the truck. Non CTIS trucks are every bit as capable as CTIS trucks offroading but the simplicity of airing up or down is gone. You would have to carry a compressor or Powertank to air back up when you were through wheeling. Not that big a deal really. Non CTIS trucks bring less money because they are less desirable to most potential buyers. Be sure the price reflects that if you make an offer on the truck.
