Default Newguy here sold z06 bought hummer wow

Hello all,
I have been a die hard sports car guy for ever and after a trip out to Utah back in February I came home to Florida and decided to sell my 600 rear wheel horsepower, 427 stroker, ultra rare (1 of 137) speedway white 2001 Z06. I all of a sudden had an urge to play in the dirt a little and to have a big truck??. I hope this forum is as informative as the LS based engine platform car sites are. LS1TECH.COM & CORVETTEFORUM.COM

Welcome. This site is really good. Not as "intense" as LS1Tech as it doesn't have as many members. You can get your questions answered and share on this site without any problems. People respect your opinion even if they disagree with you. Enjoy!

Well thank for the info and the warm welcome to the community.
I've owned and built every type of LS based setup. Big inch motors, small forged setups with twin turbo, another with a Procharger and multiple nitrous cars. I currently have a 9 second LS based Camaro stock LS1 short block with lots of nitrous, Amazing what a proper tuneup can allow stock parts to do. I intend to do some playing with the H2 and some serious tuning to see what the real MPG capabilities are. One of my best friends is an engine tuning software developer so we will really tear into the H2 cpu and see whats there. Ive seen lots of crazy claims from some of the handheld tuner manufacturers and really look forward to spending a day or 2 with the wideband hooked up and verifying what is really left on the table from both the HP & MPG standpoint.

Welcome to the site. I had a 600 rwhp 2003 Corvette. Very fun car to drive, too fun. Also been to Utah wheeling several times. It gets in your system doesn't it.

Well let me know any tuning you hear of for the LS3 in the Camaro. Any reprogramming that will improve performance, both mpg and power is okay in my book.
