Default The Newest Newb

I've been lurking for a few weeks and while I don't have my H3 yet, I’ve signed all the paperwork.

I'm having issues getting the title for my F150 that my little brother totaled. Apparently the state didn't remove the lean when they got the paperwork, and I can't get the $ from the insurance until that is taken care of. Until then (hopefully Monday) the dealership, Sewell HUMMER of Dallas, was nice enough to give me a loaner. Mine was a dealer transfer so they had to bring it in from out of town anyway.

It's a 07 Midnight Blue with manual trans.. I wanted the AdventurePackage too but there wasn't one availableanywhere with the manual. It's a plain Jane with no extras, and anything shiny will be removed as soon as possible.

Special thanks to Hummer Guy (Brian) for hooking me up with a great salesman, and making sure I was taken care of. Everybody there has been great to work with and I got avery gooddeal.

I've been involved with off roading for over 15 years and also have a '87 K5 Blazer that unfortunately spends way to much time lately in the driveway. After taking a test drive my wife loaded the kids in the truck. When I got in, my 5 YO said "Daddy, I want to go rock crawling."..... I'm going to have to make that happen soon.

Thanks Mods for the forum, I've already learned a lot.

....... and yes, I'll post pics as soon as I get it.

Thanks for the "welcomes".

Picked it up yesterday afternoon. I'll get some pics for yall latter as it's in the garage at my wife's office now.

HummerGuy, I've also got one of the 3 or 4 Explorer SportTracs in the country with a manual. We also looked at Wranglers, the salesman asked how set we were on the manual. As I started to say "pretty" my wife said "100%"........ how could you not love a woman like that.

Hey There Steve: As a "new join" myself, welcome!. Seems like a great bunch of enthusiasts here. There appear to be a few "H" sites but I believe we picked the best "O" the bunch. Rockdoc. [sm=smiley20.gif]
