Default Newbie here, Hello - HID for 07 H2

Hello all, nice site! Lot's of great info and cool rides.

Just got my first H2 back in July and looking to make a few mods. So here is my first post with a question.

Who makes the best, easiest to install and most cost effective Bi-Xenon HID conversion kit for an 07 H2???

I've seen them up and down ebay and some have the wiring to the battery, some don't, some are $400+ and some are $100.

I've done a search on this forum, but couldn't find anything comprehensive or decisive.

I'm looking for a nice clean factory looking install and would like to avoid running the extra wires with a relay. I've seen that the voltage at the lights should be close to battery voltage so I see no need for this extra step.

Thanks for your help

Rob

Did you check out some of the forums sponsors HID kits.

I personally dont like HIDs much, especially not the frog eye looking ones. I'll admit they are nice and bright for every day street driving, but not good range for distance. IMO.

Welcome to the site.

Sad to say, I got HID's ONLY cause I LOVE the Blue Tinghe to the light!![8D]

I know wht you mean big2dabank, I'm not a fan of the BUG EYE one's either. These look just like OEM.

I bought a Sylvania Xenarc System. Had them 2 years now and LOVE 'EM!!

BTW, Welcome to the Forum!!!

I don't understand...HID's have more distance than any light on the market today...that's just fact. Xenons are made to have the same light temperature as HID's and can even have the same brightness to a point but cannot compare in the length of the light. Some light housings will effect the usable pattern of the bulb but I've never seen a problem witha hummer.Personally I would save a few hundred bucks and go with a good xenon bulb but that's just me
