Truck looks good man!

I'd be swapping out the chrome too!

I wanted a white truck too... but couldn't find one at the time.

I was able to talk to the previous owner and he told me he had put about $2,000 in parts on it after he bought it (grill guard, nerf bars, rough rack, etc) and overall, I'm in love with it. The price was $25,900, but he came down to $24,500. The previous owner said they got roughly $23,000 out of it in trade. So what are you thoughts?

Honestly, you could have purchased an 08 Alpha around here for that kind of money. But, it's the rig you NEEDED. Just enjoy driving it.

That $2000.00 in aftermarket chrome parts should have no bearing on the price. I would be ripping most of it off then spending more money to get what I wanted for accessories.
That vehicle would go for around $21,000.00 in Connecticut.

Here is an H3 with similar miles (25k vs 22k) and an asking price $500 less then the one above. Sure it is a year older but there is ALOT more invested in it then the one above.
2006 Hummer H3 4dr 4WD SUV For Sale Denver
Some people might remeber this H3

For almost $1,000 less ($25,900 vs $24,999), you could have had an 2009 Hummer H3 Championship Edition (5.3L V8, Front & Rear Lockers, Fender Flares, Brush Guard, Etc). with only 18,000 miles.

Here are ten 2008 H3's with 20K to 35K miles and they are all priced under $21,000

My point being, extremely over priced IMHO.

YEP! He/She asked for all of this advice and didn't take any of it.

Oh well, I guess people like him/her just bring up our resale values. I'm not getting rid of any of ours for a long time unless I find the perfect 10' H3 Alpha OffRoad (Black or Solar) under 10K miles.

Prices keep going up though.... I bought my Wife's 2007 in 2008 for $38,000 with 21,000 miles.... I saw 7 within 50 miles of my house with no less than double the miles... for $35k-$38k

Well, that's not totally fair. He's learned a lot about the trucks from all the answers we've given him.

It's up to him to find a truck he wants, and though it may not be the best deal or have all the features. It's what will make him happy that counts!

Finding something local and paying a little extra vs. finding the perfect deal online and having it shipped... eh, can be a toss up.
