Hello all. After a few months searching. I have finally bought a H2. Really loving it. A few things i need some help with. All the H2,s i have looked at have had really bad radio controls. And my one fairs no better.

Can i buy replacement buttons??. Or do i have to apply some paint to them. I am really surprised by the finish on them,as the finish just seems to flake off.

The other question is. On the way home i was driving along the motorway. I gave it some gas and the speedo jumped from 60mph to over a 100mph,when in reality i was only doing 70mph. Eventually the needle went off the dial.And only showing 80mph at idle. I take it the speedo is electronic?? And maybe a fault within the E.C.U.

Congrats on your H2. You are going to love it. I have an '05 and my radio buttons are fine. I would think it would be easier to replace the entire radio than it would be to hunt down replacement *****. Maybe someone here has a ready source?

Your speedo sounds fubar'ed. Best thing would be to take it to an authorized dealer and get it replaced.

My buttons are fine but I have seen others that are as you described. I always wondered if you could apply some black model paint with a small brush. I think it would have to look better. I have a used 6 disc radio that is in perfect shape for sale if you dont find any solutions.
Your speedo cluster needs rebuilt or replaced.

Hi guys I am new here I have H2 now but on my old 06 H3 Ihad the same thing I used my wife eye liner pen it doesn't show at all

Thanks for the replys guys. i will try some black nail varnish. Our nearest Hummer dealer(And there is only one official one in the UK) is 240 miles away. I have a local independant American car specialist near me. I will try them for the speedo. Spent the best part of the day detailing the interior. Start the outside tomorrow. I will post some pics up when done.
