I just made a deal today for an 07 Lux with 25k on it! Everything but a sunroof! Navi and headrest TV's were a plus. My 1st major question is the gas mileage that bad? Also would an intake, exhaust and a tune really wake it up and give it some better gas mileage? Thanks and I will post up pictures when I get it!!!!

What do you consider bad?
The mpg's for H3's is documented all over the place and as White08H3 stated, it's about the same as any other SUV, or better in some cases.
There is info on mpg, CAI, exhaust and pcm tunes all over this and every other hummer forum.

I get about 16 mpg and I dont drive conservatively at all, I used to own a nissan pathfinder with the smaller engine.With that I was getting 16-17mpg so its average for a suv. Usually the h3 has about 1000lbs more weight then most trucks in its class so its good on milage considering that. I saw a few months back a guy got 21 mpg on a long road trip not going over 65 mph. it just shows if your are conservative in your driving you can benefit. I have not done any tuning to my truck so there may be some potential to get a higher average in general.

 

Thanks for all the info...Yes I know there are search engines for getting the info I need but as a new member it was one of my questions. I belong to many forums and to me, they are a brotherhood, so if I was out of line by asking 1st, I apologize!!! And as far as performance, I'm just looking to wake it up a bit. I'm thinking of going to my Corvette tuner so he can do some fiddling around. Any good sites that you guys have had good experiences with for accessories or performance parts, please send them my way!!!
