I actually just got off the phone with GM/Hummer Corp.
They are going to let the dealership run a diagnosis and they are also going to send out a regional/area inspector to look into it. It's their process from the sounds of it. Either way, I don't think either GM or the dealership wants to be seen as the bad guy in either dealer repair or manufactorer(sp?) error.

dude, if that happened to me a week after i bought my truck, then id demand a replacement. that car is supposed to be perfect until YOU mess it up, not them. im really sorry to hear that this happened and wish you the best of luck getting it resolved.

It looks like the upper ball joint retaining bolt is missing. It may have been left loose by mistake and come out over time???. The pictures shown were right at where the wheel came down? I am sure they will make it right with you. Thank God you were not moving a lot faster in heavy traffic and no one got hurt. Steve
