new tires and rims
SteveO, the Mickeys ran like stock tires, i have only had these for a day and a half, they feel a little chunkier and the noise is a different one. The MTs would hum, at 30 mph these sound like a swarm of bees and at 50 mph it sounds like you are riding in a single prop airplane. I originally was going to get 35s when I bought it , but my brother talked me out of it. he said the rears would not be able to handle it, in his defense he was wrong about the gearing.
Unfortunately he is not that far off, the rear can handle it, it's the front you have to worry about, the front diff is the problem like many know, the gears are rated for a max of 33" tires.
I'm running Toyo 35's, I've blowen my front diff already, my suggestion to you and any others with 35's is when off roading try not to over spin the front wheels and you'll be OK

Nice setup. I've got the same tires and I really like 'em so far. Maybe its the wheel design but your 18"s look as big as my 20"s! Are your bumpers painted or lined? Maybe you just armoralled 'em pretty good cause they look dark!
