Default New Tires

I am thinking about getting new tires for my H3 Adventure Package. I want to go bigger but am not sure what size would fit without a lift. Can anyone help me with this and maybe make some suggestions on what tires to get.

If you use the search feature you will see many discussions on tire size.

Basically up to a 35" tire (315/75/16) will fit without ANY modifications.

315/75R/16's are the largest you can put on without doing a lift. I have them on mine along with a gagillion others. Depending on what tire you put on if you get any rubbing at full LH or RH lock on the steering wheel. You will probably want ot level the frt end but you can do that with just cranking up the torsion bars. Don't let anyone talk you into buying the keys or kit. Not required. If you get a tire that rubs the stablizer bars at full lock you can put on small spacer plates. I only paid 5 bucks each for mine. I got 1/4 at first but still rubbed just a little on the stab bars. so I took them back and got 3/8's and no more rubbing unless I air down real low for traction. The rubbing doesn't hurt anything if you don't hold it there and just keep going. You would end up with shiny spots on your bars and maybe extra wear on the inside lugs.

I had looked at them. I had them on my old Silverado but they were so wide that standing water jerked me all over the road. Thanks

Hey Paul, Welcome!

Please play around with the SEARCH function. There are at least 50 threads on this exact subject and some have really good info on sizes, ATs vs MTs, pix etc.
