so i just got a heck of a deal on a set of Pro Comp Xtreme All Terrains and couldn't pass them up...285/75/r16...same size i had before thanks to the lovely Adventure Package. they are amazing so far and surprisingly subdued on the highway, at about 50+ its a nice hum as opposed to an unbearable whine so i can't complain there...they have a 40k tread life waranty and i'll update on how they last as time goes on...anyone else have these tires?

Those look good and I do like that tire. Only problem is that it's directional and so that eff's up your spare and your rotation

 

no worries there, i don't ever rotate the spare into the rotation...not a good idea...so long as you keep it aired up you know you can count on it, if you rotate it in you may very well have a spare with a nail or something in it when a situation arises that you need it...but thats just me...definitley would be an issue otherwise though like you said!

 

Did you get 4 tires or did you do the spare as well? Sounds like you kept the spare the stock tire and if so just remember to make sure it's the same diameter as the new ones. I know most tires brands vary slightly even in the same size and if it's different do not use it or you will have bigger problems.

yeah i only got 4 and kept the stock Bridgestone 285/75/16 spare. however i'm gonna sell my old set of tires and the spare and should have more than enough to get a matching spare...i HATE riding around with a spare that doesn't match the tires i'm running! just doesn't look right ya know what i mean!
