If it could help tame the frequencies coming out of the woofer with an inline control that would be great. There is way too much midrange and bass in the system already. Do they put crossovers in our Monsoon system? Can they be modified?

I really prefer more power I have in my h3 a jl audio w7 13ยด men it sounds awesome, 8 speakers, 9 tweeters. until know nobody has resisted the sound inside the truck, you can hear my truck 2 blocks away from where the truck is. the bad point is that I dont have any space in the cargo area, I use it all for the amps and the subwoofer.

I am upgrading the system in the H3.

I know where to buy these. Dealer has them in stock.

If you read the manual for it, You have to remove the stock amp. For those that do have this, where did you relocate amp. Did you use stock still or new amp(s)?

talk about reviving an old thread... but I'm wondering if there is any reason why this won't fit in the regular storage compartment (i.e. non-monsoon system)?

has anyone installed it in the regular storage compartment?

The factory 10 inch sub is 2 ohms, as well as all the door speakers. I replaced the factory 10 inch sub with a JL 10" w1v2. The factory amp drives it and it sounds clean. If you want "street bumping" music, you'll want to look elsewhere for head pounding base. But for clean sounding music with clean bass, it's perfect.
