hey everyone. just got my 06 superior blue ex/black intH3 2 weeks ago and it's my favorite vehicle i've owned so far. standard wheels, chrome door handles, chrome mirrors, painted spare wheel cover, lux pack. the ride is unbelievable & the capability is unprecedented. named it the Urban Assault Vehicle. being an H3 i had to take it off road as soon as possible to breakit in. i racked my brain to find a good spot to try since legal off roading isn't too accessible close to home (suburbs of chicago). i ended up going to this place we used to sled in HS called suicide hill. this thing is steep - and fairly tall too. maybe a 90 ft vertical slope at about50 - 60 degrees (i'm purely speculating here). the climb was first - dropped it into 4Low and it climbed straight up, no hesitation. with this vehicle being my first 4x4, i'm sure others out there have way better stories than this one but damn was I stoked half-way up. coming back down was just as intense - maybe more so - but braking was controlled and I never felt the truck was even remotely unstable. very impressive. i'm sure this will be my first of many Hummer products - very happy to be here
