New Rims and Tires (Pics)
I like it! I have the same...22's (not the same style as yours, however) with 305 Toyo (I have Toyo Proxes....looking at your tread, yours are a different model) Great street tires, but I'm sorta wishing I went a size bigger and more of an AT tread. But, since I log about 90% highway time, I'm happy with the Proxes' for the summer months. I'll keep my stock wheels and AT's for winter.
Nice ride!
Nice ride!
Sorry, but perhaps you misread some of the threads and great advice regard tire/rim selection on the site. You want more TIRE and less RIM. Anyway, not what most would have done but as long as you like them I suppose that's all that matters.Doc, you should have given him 15 days on the classified post. By the way, love the new intake you sent me a couple weeks ago. Many thanks!
Yeah I love the toyos too. I am in AZ so we never see rain or snow and these tires are nice on the highway.
I can tell that most people on this forum are not into big rims/street look but more the offloading type. I guess its whatever your into but it sucks when people hate on people who put chrome/rims on their hummers.
I know Hummers are designed for of road use but if you don't offroad does that mean you cannot drive one?
Thanks
Jon

Jon, my bad. I was just dishing out a healthy serving of sarcasm and ribbing, not hate. Bling isn't my thing, but as you'll see there are plenty on here that roll like you. Bottom line, it's a HUMMER, and welcome to the forum. Oh yeah, be prepared for some more ribbing if you post any pics of your new chrome air intake covers.

In fact, I did.
