New Redneck Owner from Upstate NY
Been a Jeep guy my whole life but due to water leaks I finally got rid of my JK Rubi which I loved (other than the leaks and feeble engine).
Picked up a 2009 Championship Edition H3 this week for 33k with rebates, hope I did not get beat up too badly, but the dealer was pretty well fixed on the price. Love it so far and am getting 17.4 MPG in mixed driving.
Must be a few old Jeep folks around, I will be curious as to how you all compare these vehicles. My short-lived impression is that they have been totally maligned and are a great off road vehicle with decent fuel economy for what they are. So far, I love it with the exception of the red light on the mirror for the Onstar.
Forgive the thread title, am a bit tired tonight. I don't own any rednecks, at least not yet...

Welcome to the forums and congrats on the new H3. Most wheelers I know started in Jeeps. Loved mine ( except for the Grand Cherokee, what a POS ) The Hummer is the best marriage of on road comfort and offroad capability out there. I think you will enjoy transitioning into the H3.
