just curious if anyone has ever looked into wether one of those in the spare tire license plate holders from an H2 could be made to fit a n H3?

 

I was referring to kild1's sig..she looks nice in pink...geeez

 

She is like a Hummer.....................she would look good in any color

While at the dealership this week, I asked about this license plate frame. I was told that the new frame is part of the bumper. By some chance, do you have a part number listed on the work order that changed it out? I even offered to pay for the change...

I looked into it the last time I was at my dealership. The H2 license plate mount is part of the swing away spare tire carrier. You have to swing open the spare carrier and remove a bolt from behind the spare to remove the lic plate an undo a wire for the lic plate light to remove the spare. The idea could be modified to fit the H3, but you would have to devise another way to prevent easy removal of the plate holder by less that honest people. A visible wing nut is a great temptation. You would also have to route and hook up the lic plate light to be completely legal.
