Default new rad 2 weeks ago
still smell antifreeze. no trace of leaks. reserve dropped 1/4 in since fresh fillup 2 weeks ago.
temp and heater same as b4,aok.??
any comments...?

You may have coolant spilled in the engine bay, a good rinsing should fix the smell. Coolant drop is probably due to trapped air pockets working their way out. I wouldn't worry about it.

i appreciate that. had thoughts of the drop but couldnt put words to it!, air pockets sounds good.

ill wait a while, i dont like water in the engine area!
