Hi, got rid of my 5th wheel and 3500 4x4 dodge and bought an '08 H3 (and a drivable RV will be coming in the future). Is there a lockable fuel cap (prefer just a cap over the cover) and also is there a storage box that is a good fit to put in the back (thinking of somthing like a plastic storage box I could secure with the tie-downs).

Any auto parts store has both the chrome/silver finish and black locking gas caps. I have some great storage bins I use with mine but I can't think of the mfg. at the moment. I'll post that when I get to the storage bin.

The bins are made by Stanley. I got them at Home Depot. They are lockable and have secure latches that don't pop open when you are wheeling.

 

Haven't seen a locking gas cap.

Stant locking gas cap number 11511 fits the H3's...at least the 2008's. A little Krylon satin black will cover the stupid warnings written all over it in white. Scuff the metal lock, cover the key slot, and spay in light layers. Looks great when done.
