Walk over as they are filling their car, press the off button on the pump and say.. "Can you hold up a mintue.. I may need all of it..."

And I looked at your profile and I see you live over here on the Left Coast. Get used to the Hummer Haters. You will be having more and more run ins as the days go by.
I live in Cali and I am AMAZED atthe pure hatred pointed at me after I bought my H3. Don't be shy about excersizing your right to drive what you choose to drive. Just watch yourself around all those Prius drivers, they are real buggers.
