New Owner
Hey Guys I m a new Owner of a 2006 H3, I want to know if you Guys have any information about the stuff i should check first?? I thought of replacing all fluids since i don't know how long the stuff is inside my new babe! The manual is missing as well so i try to find everything online. How can i find out what exact date my Hummer was made? I will post some pictures soon. Thanks for your help.

Welcme ,
I am by no means an expert like some of the folks on here but here are my recommendations and what I have done and plan to do for my to hummer I just got.:
Done:
Really get underneath and go front to back and side to side toget a good eye on the under arrange look for rust spots (to include ice rust areas. And surface rust).
Have the brakes, and exhaust system checked and since the tires are already off have them rotate the tires.
Plan to do:
Oil change
Radiator flush
Transmission fluid change
AC check up
Check the shocks
Doing these things first will help give you a good me handicap picture of your rig and also give you a base. To start planning your future maintenance schedule. Then you can start planning your mods.
Hope this helps but if you need more info everyone on here and club hummer online (CHO), and hummer 4x4 club(H4O). Have been a great help and there is also a ton of info on hummers.
You might have a hard time finding the exact date your H3 rolled off the line. I say this since 2006 was the largest production year for the H3 (56k I think). You may be able to narrow that number down if you have a one of the packages to alphas just depends on what is on your truck.
But again welcome.

OK check!!! Today i met the previous Owner and he told me where he maintained the hummer, so i will check with that dealer. One more question. I have the feeling the MPG is really bad. Can that happen from too much standing or city cruising?? What can i do to get a little better Mpg.??
