Picked this up night before last. 2008 with 52k on the ticker and very clean. Took it for about a 120 mile drive last night, we like it a lot more then I expected. My wife really loves it, which surprised me a lot. She doesn't want to let me drive it

It was a replacement vehicle for her Focus... I had to

I just didn't want to end up with a Vue or something that would not tow my 46 Jeep to the trails, or my utility trailer. I rarely will drive it because of my company vehicle.

She went out driving around just to play yesterday... I was laughing as she has NEVER done that with a vehicle we bought.

My wife took over the H3 Alpha, not even sure I have a set of keys to it anymore. She loves that truck. For towing an Alpha probably would have been better and if you might wheel it an Adventure package but you will love the truck. Congrats and good thing you are ok with your wife driving it all the time because I have a feeling that is the way it is going to be. LOL

This is her truck for kid and dog hauling and family vacations. The most it may see (until she gets a new one and I get the hand me down) is the sand dunes. Once she is done though, it will probably become the family wheeler. She does want a Gobi rack though eventually.

I could not justify the price for the Alpha we were looking at, especially with 75,000 miles on it. We got this one for a few grand cheaper and I won't have to touch the drivetrain for 3 years.

The most I will tow is ~2500 lbs, and that is maybe 2-5 times a year. 46 ****** are tiny.
