Default New from NY

Hey there, people. I just bought a 2007 Hummer H3 last week, and I'm already impressed. Being a Jeep guy for a decade, I thought there was nothing that was gonna change my mind. Well, wrong I was. I'm looking forward to building this thing and have been doing some research here, so I figured I would say Hi.

Welcome to the forum from MI. What are your "building" plans? OffRoad or OnRoad?

Thanks for the welcome, guys. I will be building for mild off road. All I have done so far adjusted the torsion bars, but I think its about time to start looking at tires. I'll end up sticking a CAI on it too. I'll keep you all posted.

Not yet. I'm going to start doing some work next month. It's just been alot of research so far. Basically, I'm going to run the tires I've always run,(Mickey Thompson Baja Claws) and I've been looking at small lifts. The plan is to run 35's, and I know they fit stock, but I just want clearance. I would also like to get the tires outside the wheel well by about two inches. Has anyone done this, and if so, do you know the offset you used? Any info would be helpful.
