Default new Michigan winter on doorstep maybe??? Gotta love having fun with neighbor!!

Just got word that our first significant snowfall of the Detroit area is on the way....hopefully. Forcasted to have 4 to 6 inches of snow for the Monday morning commute. I cannot wait . This will be my H3's first winter. With the Body Mount 'POPPING' problem solved (did that one myself and it has been 99.9% silent over the past 4 months) it is a joy to drive!!!!!!!!!!!

What are people's impressions of the H3's snow handling??

I have two neighbors - one with a 'dumb-for-two' and one with a Yaris (Bill has the yaris and is a real hot-head). Last winter was the last winter in my Sierra Crew Cab 4x4 and I used to have fun with them. One neighbor, Bill, was being a Christmas light critic while I was stringing green LED lights in my October Glory Maple tree (25 ft tall used 35 strands of lights). I asked him how his Yaris was in the snow and how it handled the hill on our street. He said it wasn't too bad; he would just drive in some elses ruts and make it up the hill eventually. He then pointed out that I wrapped too many branches and that it was too much light. I said 'thank-you...and see you later' then went to the store and bought strands 30 thru 35 and added more lights. (yes, the tree is within 20 ft of his house) He has also let me know many times, this summer, that my Hummer was causingour current gas price spike. He told me that we would all be better off if all 4x4s were banned or had some type of luxuary tax put on them. (again, bear with me he will get his).

Anyway, to be difficult lastwinter(feel free to pile on, but I thought it was funny) after thefirst big snow of 2007 (if you could call it big...we got about 7" of wet snow one night) I dicided to drive up the hill on our street in a zig-zag pattern (from curb to curb, and our street is not heavily traveled). After getting to work my wife called me and said Bill (Yaris owner ) was outside his car, stuck in the street, screaming about 'who did this'. I told her what I had done she said I was wrong. She said she watched his car track perfectly withmy tireruts that went 'zig-zag' up our hill before getting stuck. He couldn't seem to get his car out of the rut (according to my wife) or all the way up the hill. She said whenhe tried backing down the hill, his Yaris stayed in the ruts. After about 30 min, another 4x4 hooked him to a yellow strap and pulled him up the hill.

I have to admit that whenever we get a big snow, I zig-zag past Bill'sdriveway and up the hillpurposely now. I know it's mean, but you should see how insanely furious Bill gets. I'll post some video if I can get some without him seeing me. I do snow-blow Bill's driveway to keep his suspicions down. 2 of my neighbors (with 4x4s) know it's me and we all laugh about it over a few beers from time to time. Whenever I 'zig-zag' up the hill, they try to stay in my 'zig-zag' ruts to mess with Bill.

Bill has complained to them that he doesn't like them putting their trash out the night before garbage morning because he doesn't want to see it out his front window.

I know I am a d!ck , but I think Bill is worse. Can't wait to play with Bill and see how good my H3 ruts the street. Happy Holidays to all!!!

Anyone have a neighbor like Bill???????

Has all the potential for a great headline : NEIGHBOR SNAPS OVER ZIG-ZAG - SHOOTS HUMMER OWNER.
