Good morning gents and gals! I'm currently in the process of purchasing a 2006 H2 and have been lurking around these boards for the past few days gaining knowledge on these vehicles so I have a little ammo when negotiating happens.
I am a moderator on another major forum for a previous vehicle I owned as well as a member of several other forums for our current vehicles.
I just wanted to check in, I have some questions but those will be asked in the appropriate places.
Glad to be here and look forward to chatting with all of you!

Thanks again for the welcoming, I just finished reading all the pages/threads in the H2 tech section. I'm half tempted to just go pick the darned thing up!
^not yet, possibly tonight if all goes according to plan
I just want to give you guys some background info on the purchase-I don't think it warrants a new thread elsewhere (hopefully!)
The H2 is a 2006 with just under 32k on the odo, interior and exterior is immaculate. It drives great, some slight noise from the driver side door panel but nothing major. One button on the radio scratched off but I have already found button kits to replace it and the info on here on how to do it.
My trade will be a 2006 Pontiac GTO 6.0 liter with 75k on the odo. Bluebook is $14.5 and so far they are offering $15 on the trade.
Sale price on the H2 is $30,999
So far we are at a payment of $589/month, $1,500 down, 6.75% interest. Apparently from what they're telling me even with my A credit rating the banks won't offer any lower of an interest rate because both my car and the hummer are due to be 6 years old in a few months.
I think I hit the basics, any thoughts or recommendations on where to go from here regarding the negotiations.
Oh also the spare tire is shot, gouges in the sidewall and its completely flat so the tire is absolutely no good......

Thanks for the replies everyone, much more welcoming here then the GTO forums!
Well the purchase was finalized earlier. I'll post more into after I get some sleep but after they saw my credit the interest rate dropped by a large margin and so did the payment. Needless to say I am very happy with the purchase and the financing!
Pics and more to come tomorrow!

Well the deal was finalized late last night, interest and payment came way down after they say my credit so I am very happy with the purchase!

Few things they are replacing:
-rear spare was bad
-front driver side top marker lens, tab broken
-new owners manual
-second key and fob
That was all I could squeeze out of them. They had already given me $500 above KBB for my trade so I couldn't complain.
Also the way the loan worked out the tire warranty was only $1 more a month so I said why not.
