Hi All, After several years of dreaming I finally got my H3 last night (from private party). 2007 with only 38k miles! Clean title and everything stock (luxury package, nav, tow, sr, monsoon, step). Owner drove it intermittently through the years. Last oil change was summer 2014 at 35k miles, I was shocked. What fluids or other things should I replace/check? Thanks!

Welcome and congrats!

At 38K no need to change any fluids. I would check them all.

First thing for you to do is pull out the Owner's Manual and read through it, including the maintenance schedules. If your truck does not have one, they are on line to download and/or read through free.

Welcome to HF.

I would change every fluid due to the fact every fluid is 9 or 10 years old depending on the build date.

Thanks for the input. I'll be changing the oil this weekend and look at changing the rest in the coming weeks. Is this something I can do myself or should I bring it to my mechanic?

What about fuel filters or air filters? Any thoughts?

The previous owner gave me only 1 remote but I was able to get another. Can I program this myself? I tried the instruction available online but it doesn't work. Dealer only? Thanks.
