I just signed up for this forum because someone posted a thread on how to change a radiator on an H3. Well, the instructions were perfect and got in done in a few hours.

Default H3 Radiator

Thanks for the warm welcomes guys. Like alot of other people who have H3's in my area, I started to smell that sweet radiator odor. Since I also own a Ford with 180,000 miles on it, I know that smell well. So I checked under the hood of my hummer and sure enough, hairline crack right along the core support. I live in san antonio, tx and the temp just 3 days ago was 105, so I ordered a new radiator online for $150 plus $10 shipping. The dealer said they could not help me because I was out of warranty by 5000 miles. I explained that many hummer owners online have the same issue and they said that it hardly ever happens. Dealer price for part and labor was $890 plus tax. Did it myself and treated my fiance and I out to a nice dinner instead. All in all was a good labor day weekend. I will try to post pics of my H3 soon
