Hi all. I am in the market for a Hummer H3 and have a few ???/concerns. I have been reading some of the posts on this site and have been learning about the H3 but I still have some questions of which I can't find the answers to. I have been looking into the 2008 H3 models and will probably get a base model or a sport. Is there anything to be aware of with these models? Any problems that might stand out or things to check? Also, I have been trying to find info. on tune ups and maintenance schedules that need to be done at the dealerships. Are there any parts that need to be replaced by the dealer within certain mileage/times to maintain the warranty-ie tune ups, belts,etc? I live approx. 50-60 miles from the closest Hummer service center which concerns me somewhat. I am looking at ones with automatic tranny's and I will not take the vehicle off road and will only use the vehicle for daily driving. The vehicles I have been looking at have about 27,000 to about 31,000 miles on them. Any help would be appreciated,thanks in advance.

 

No real issues with the 2008 models. Great vehicles. Normal maintenance schedules. Have the Hummer dealer use the VIN to run a vehicle history for you and tell you if the truck needs servicing. Might have them do an inspection on it but with low miles you are probably ok.
