New MD H2 Owner
All,
I am new H2 owner and am loving it!
Well actually, I have owned the 2003 H2 for two months but I just finally got it back from the shop(s).
Its a 2003 H2 with the Luxury & Adventure package. It had 89K miles on it and looked to be well cared for. In addition, it had new aftermarket wheels/tires as well as new Volant intake and Borla Exhaust system.
First up, I bought it knowing that it needed new tie rods, idler arm & bracket, pitman arm, and alignment. While it was at the shop we also discovered the temperature gauge was sticking a bit so I sent the whole cluster out to have all motors replaced. This whole process took about two weeks.
After the basic maintenance I dropped it off local customization where its spent the last two months. While there I replaced all the lights (except fog lights) with LED lights which includes new Predator Motorsport headlamps, IPCW tail lights, Putco roof lamps, LED signal markers, as well as most of the interior bulbs. The LEDs make this truck look amazing.
We added three off road LED light bars, 1 - 30" inline with the headlights, 1 - 50" on top of the front roof rail, and 1 - 30" under the rear bumper backing up. Wow they are bright!
The spare tire was relocated to the back of the truck from inside as the truck came with both mounts.
We replaced the factory head unit with a Pioneer GPS/Navigation/DVD player/App radio as well as the backup camera on the bumper. This all tied in with the factory Bose speakers. We also added a Rockford Punch subwoofer in the trunk using the JL audio stealth box so it is completely out of the way of storage or passengers. The new amp sits underneath the rear seat.
I also had an inverter added so I can run any devices or power the Margaritaville blender on the go.
So, as of right now all is good to go except for a few interior bulbs that still need to be swapped to LED and fixing a tail light blinker problem I am having on the passenger side (won't blink). I am also waiting for the new paint matched tire carrier with license plate mount to arrive.

LOL. I'll have to build a blender station at some point.
I'll take some more pics once I wash it and maybe i'll throw the blender in there to test it out and snap a few!
