I just read the motortrend review on it...WOW...248 horsepower 211ft.lbs of torque...and remember electric motors make 100% torque at 1rpm!!! THATS INSANE!!! 0-60 in 3. and to speed of over 130 mph!! IN AN ELECTRIC CAR!! And you can go over 220 miles on a single charge. I'm not a big fan of electric cars...but this think is sick!

I've been reading about this car for about a year. Only negative was the price tag. Outstanding car though.

 

yea, $98,000 is kinda steep...but with never having to pay for fuel...I bet one in the $65-70,000 range would sell rather well.

The first articles I read were implying a price of 130-150K. 98K isn't that bad.

 

but only 220 miles on a charge... then what? We will all probably agree that this isn't a daily driver... so you take it out on Sunday to hit the mountains... and you have to turn around and come home at 100 miles?

I couldn't make it to your house and back on a single charge...

 

no not totally practical yet but I guess the H1s aren't either. unless I am on a trip it takes me about 10 days to dive 220 miles. if you live in socal it might work ok

220 miles would be plenty for th majority of commutes I would think. I dunno...my commute is from my bed to the nursery to the couch[8D]

 

I think its a great car. I've been looking at the Exige for over a year now and have keep my eye on the tesla for almost two and would pay 70 to 80 for one. BMJM thats a great color combo. But i'm leaning towards the orange.

 

I wish CCM Doc was here to see this....
