New Hummer, Smooth/Rough Ride??
Well my Hummer is 1 week old, pics to be posted this weekend after I add some accessories.
Question: How smooth of a ride should I be expecting when driving down the highway around 70 mph, even on smooth asphalt? I have the Adv. package stock tires (285s).
I mean should the driver's side mirror be wobbling, not the housing, just the mirror? Should the steering wheel shimmy?
Should the passenger seat wobble some?
I don't expect it to drive like a Cadillac, but everything, even the steering wheel shimmies (sp?) some.
Just curious...

Readjust the mirror and it might stop it from wobbling on you, that's what I did and it seemed to help. Besides that the truck rides very smooth at highway speeds for me. Just a little wind noise from my roof rack sometimes.

RE: New Hummer, Smooth/Rough Ride??
So I was looking over my wheels this weekend to figure out why they may be out of balance and I noticed that the stick-on weights in the wheel-well had been ripped off. The brake caliper assembly is closer to the wheel-well on the front wheel than on the back but the dealer put the weights in the same spot. Damn things probably ripped off on the first wheel rotation.
