new hummer poll
I saw this poll while surfing and just as I went to save it to post here my son walked in and shut off my computer tower[:@] Now I can't find it anywhere[:@][:@]
anyway to paraphrase:
Do you think that GM/HUMMER should make future h3's/H4's and so on 2 wheel drive base with the option of 4x4?
I of course think a 2wd would be a waste but I also think 20"+ rims are a waste and they might as well be on 2wd hummers...what do you think?

RE: new hummer poll
Since I will be getting an H3x soon. I do mostly road driving I still think the 60/40 4wdwd split should be the minimum.
I am not one to 'pimp' out anything but the H3x trim package was unique and good enough for my need to be/feel unique. Did I hear somewhere that they had more special editions in the works?
As for the options. I am sure GM is going to add to the list. I don't exactly care one way or the other on that one.

if GM thinks it will increase sales, then we are probably going to get it.
I do like the permanent 4 wheel drive though. On the occasional times when i had to put my 4 runner into 4 wheel drive, I often thought "wouldn't it be nice to always be in 4 wd" and it is .

true, but is bieng too lazy to push a button worth giving up 3-4-5 maybe more MPG? I know my grand cherokee has full time 2wd and a full time 4wd as well as part time 4wd and 4wd low settings. In two wheel drive I get 17 mpg, on full time 4wd the mileage drops to 12.
Also full time 4wd on the h3 isn't enough of a 4wd ratio to get you out of trouble, you'll still need to hit 4 hi lock if you get into heavy snow or mud.
