I should get my car in a few weeks, I can't wait.

Honestly, I did not know that many people hate Hummer, like a derangement. It is a little scary. I don't want my car destroyed because someone thinks they can, and should destroy other people's property.

I don't see any environmentalists outrage about the abortion rate..........which killed a heck of a lot more innocent babies. I don't see anyone protesting, or destroying a private jets that burned up more fuel than all the hummers combine.

 

Everybody needs a cause, and usually a cause needs a target or antagonist. Instead of targeting the hybrids that require nickel being mined at great destruction of the earth in foreign countries, shipping said nickel to refinement, then to Japan for production, then to protected disposal at the end of its yet-unknown useful life, they aim squarely at a vehicle that gets better fuel economy than many ofthe other trucks and SUVs on the market and supports the local economy a heck of a lot more. <shrug>

I say buy, enjoy, and educate. [8D]

 

WoooHooo.... My sales guy just left an email and said that my Hummer is being built next week, the week of the 28th. Should have it a couple of weeks after that I guess.

Just got an email this evening from the dealer........IT'S ARRIVED ! [sm=groupwave.gif]
It'll take a couple more days to get 'er ready, but I should have it by this Saturday....maybe Friday.

I can't believe you can still type. I know I checked out this site before buying mine to just make me want it more. I was able to at least go to the dealership the next day and get it, if I had to wait for it I would probably be camping out at the dealer's garage. Apparently, I'm horrible at waiting...

Hoping to pick her up this Saturday. Where next Monday is President's Day (one of the biggest car sales days), I asked the sales guy if there was going to be any HUMMER or GM based incentives. He just now got the lowdown from GM and emailed me that there will be an EXTRA $ 1,000 off the price, this is on top of what I was already getting. [sm=happybounce.gif]
