Need advise on which is good website and brand to purchase rear view camera, would like to have it hooked to factory installed Navigation system. Also missing Navigation DVD, does anyone have copy that I can use till new version comes out in August 2008. I am willing to pay for the assistance.

Thanks BassGear!

Is it wise to buy the camera and interface online and get it installed at the Dealer. ? what's the approx cost to get this connected to Navi and also hook up DVD to Navigation system. ?

Anyone in Orlando, Florida that knows a good mechanic & installer for future work on the hummer... Dealer does charge through the roof for little things.

Thanks and appreciate your support.

Ather

Sure, I think even better to do this as so you knowexactly what you get before installation, make sure you get one with an extra video out (for dvd)

I believe mines was$1100 installed with interface, and Sony CCD camera. (not including DVD system of course) I'm 100% sure you can get the Nav/Camdone much cheaper, mines was dealer installed.

DVD system cost would be based on the brand, and type of your choosing.
As far as a Nav disc copy, I have heard that copies of the original disc just don't function properly most of the time, so you may need to find an original one even if it may not be the lastest version.
