I'm up in New England, Have had my '03 for 2 years (actually I bought it for the Wife) and she LOVE'S IT!!!!!! Every time we go out in it (which isn't very often, due to her disability) shetells me how much she loves it/Have I told you how much I love mytruck?
Has been great in the winter as our driveway is all up a steep hill going inwith a turn at the top.
Just drove it coast to coast (return trip 56hrs total) avg. mpg 12.5-15.5 @65-80mph. Did not fair well on the CALI hi-ways with the grooved concrete......beat up the tread on the BFG's.
Very comfortible for long hours in either seat. Quiet and handles very nice. Wish it had a Diesel as mpg probably would have offset fuel price (if diesel wasn't $3.75/Gal.)
The thing I hate about these vehicles is almost the same as my Tbird SC-------There are hundreds of aftermarket parts for them (Hummers)BUT THEY COST A MINT!!! As for the Bird---There aren't a lot of aftermarket (or OEM for that matter) parts AND THEY COST A MINT!!!!
Soooo, Built a tire carrier, working on a safari rack and 'Road Armor' style front bumper. May take more time, but money saved buying the materials + my time= "I did THIS"
What's that dear?.....Air horns, gun vault, more lights and.......A WHAT? A Plasma Cannon?????
The horns,vault and lights will take a while,...But the cannon I can do that this weekend. ....(Thank you dear)
