Hello all! My girlfriend and I just purchased a beautiful 06 H3 and we're picking it up today! It's got 30,000 miles, boulder grey metallic with black/orange heated leather, monsoon stereo, brush guard, and chrome wheels. I can't figure out if that's the lux package (?). Im usually the first person to steer people away from GM's of this era for their archaic powertrains and interiors made of recycled wheelbarrows but hummer really went for the gusto with this! Its a quality piece of craftsmanship and to my great surprise not a monocoque crossover chassis! It's an honest to god truck! We also got an extended 3 year warranty after hearing this year can be a bit troublesome mechanically speaking. I do have another question. What treatment is there for the exterior plastics to keep them dark despite sun and salt damage? I hate the idea of all the plastics getting white and streaky. Congrats on the purchase! The extended warranty is only as good as the company representing it, but could pay for itself the first time something goes wrong... As for the exterior plastic trim try Griots Garage dye

 

Congrats on your purchase! I just traded my 06 Boulder Gray yesterday on a 2010 Birch White Lux! I loved my H3 so much that I just had to have another! I too am looking into extended warranty info for the new one - came in VERY handy on the 06! ENJOY!

 

If it has heated leather seats it is has the Lux pkg. I am on my 3rd H3 and have enjoyed each one of them.
