Rob,
I visited my friend Tonyin Denver Colorado in January 2008.He took me to Big MommaHill in Left Hand Canyon.
We went all the way to the top of the mountain where there weren't any more roads and only ATVs and dirt bikes were wheeling.
It was interesting being the only 4x4 truck that went all the way to the top while the other 4x4s stopped to have a picnic half way up the mountain. The red bronco belongs to a friend of ours but it broke an axle half way up. You definitely want to get a winch to use on this trail, we made good use the winches on both vehicles because of the permafrost and silt.
It took 3 hours to get to the top but it was well worth it. This was definitely the best 4 wheeling experience that I have had. Because of the 4wheeling, skiing and snowmobiling I am considering moving to Colorodo so I can dothese thingsmore often.
I just can't seem to convince my wife that because of the lack of humidity I was able to hang out outside in 30 degreeweather in a t-shirt and jeans.
PMme your phone # and e-mail address and I'll put you guys in touch.

So this is just a pic of my safari rack. I fabricated the cross rails out of thick walled gas pipe, fastened with 5/16" SS bolts through a 1 in thick hard rubber stopper that I drilled through as a washer. I really like the way it turned out. Got the rails powdercoated in matte black and it matches up with the safari rack pretty well. Put end caps on so no water gets in either. This is the Proline safari rack with the extension and wind fairing.

This is the T-case plate that I fabricated. 3/16" steel plate, bent to 30 degrees on the first 1.5" to make a lip to help push rocks under the cross member. This is a picture of it next to the stock plate, and then also during the hole drilling phase. Painted it hammertone grey mettalic. All edges broken, it looks sharp.

These are only the first two mods that I have done. Next is going to be rock rails super-sliders along with lower shock arm skids, the gobi tailgate ladder and a light bar with 5 PIAA 2100XT's. Also currently coming together in the shop is my onboard air system. 5 gal tank with a master flow 1050 compressor. Pressure switch and regulator, should drive an impact wrench and a tire inflator. The air system is going into its own large toolbox to be mounted to the safari rack with a plug in to a port wired to the track up there. Its gonna be schweet. What can I say, I'm an engineer, of course Im making my own stuff!!! Friggin cross rails were like $400 at the Stealership!
