Hey ya'll! New guy here from Colorado. I just traded my '96 2 door Yukon in for an '08 Solar Flare Metalic H3 Alpha with 4:10 and the 5.3.. I love it! I got it though Carmax and it took two weeks for it to get here from Austin but it was worth the wait! It didn't have an owner's manual so, i've been having fun finding out what it has etc.. I love the Monsoon system and the sunroof for sure.. The tan leather is very nice. I absolutely hate the bling that someone puked on this poor vehicle! I've been de-blinging it -- the first thing to go was the chrome hood vent with the massive chrome handles.
I also found out yesterday when I took the spare tire cover off, that the spare is just an old steel wheel with an old used tire on it! WTH?? So if anyone has a spare chrome '08 Hummer wheel they'd like to sell, let me know.. Already swapped out the muffler for a Magnaflow -- not happy with the quietness so, getting a Flowmaster 40 series installed in the next few days. I'll post some pics soon... Man that sure is a bright shade of orange!!! It's growing on me though. But the bling must go! LOL! I miss the 8 cup holders and refrigerator size center console that the Yukon had though. This little guy sure is thirsty!
