new guy from AZ
Greetings,
Just joined forum after picking up a 2006 H2 a few weeks back. Always liked the truck....and the timing just seemed to work out. Found a clean '06 Slate Blue H2 with 75k, and the MB ML63 I was driving was no longer inspiring mechanical confidence so I traded her. Big difference going from the ML that hauled a** to this H2, but I like the size and feel of the H2. Had a 4x4 Excursion before the ML that I really loved.....and the H2 reminds me of that kind of ride and feel.
Let's see if I can get a pic to upload.

Nice looking truck.....looks like on the way down from Yarnell in the pic. I've got a quick question for you since you're local....who would you recommend if I wanted someone to do mechanical upgrades on H2 or if I need stuff fixed?

It is the back way from Prescott to the valley. Went up to Prescott for a day trip then took the back way home. In all the years I've been in AZ that was the first time I had gone that route. Very beautiful sights.
Depends on what you want done mechanical wise. I generally do all my own work. Only time my rig has been in the shop was to get the touchscreen radio programmed to the truck. I swapped it in place of the 6-disk changer.
There is a newer Cadillac dealership at Arrowhead. They have mostly the old HUMMER techs working there.

I used to do a lot of my own wrenching......but have trouble making the time and space. Thought I'd supercharge the 6.0, and maybe some other upgrades. We'll see. I like the truck but it needed a little more power. Even considered the diesel transplant but that is a lot more cash than I wanted to put into truck. Maybe lift it a little.
Currently in a speed shop in Scottsdale getting supercharger installed and tuned....looking forward to picking it up in a few days.
I was asking about a good wrench for the things that come up or I don't feel like jumping into as they arise. Will go by and talk to the guys over in Arrowhead and try to make a contact or two.
