new gears?

Default new gears?

I'm putting 35'' yokohamas on my H3 the gears are stock do you think I will have any problems with the new tires? Thanks

Most all will tell you that running stock gears (4:56) unless you have an "Alpha" are just fine with 35" tires. Even with the gearing in the Alpha models, the v8 will make up for the higher gear ratio of that model

Others will chime in and let you know if another gear range works better with 35" tires but I find that the dollars spent to do this doesn't add up

thanks alot slash x i do have the i5 so thats good to hear i didnt want to mess with them if i didnt have to.

No gear ratio that is higher numerically (than the 4:56) currently exists for the front carrier of the H3/H3T.

What Mutaint said. Only re-gearing option is from 4.10's to 4.56's on Alpha's
