New Gas Prices 2014???
WE HUMMER DRIVERS ARE KNOWS As GAS PRICES WATCHERS .. WOULD BE INTERESTING TO CHECK HOW THE GAS FLUCTUATE IN THE NEXT YEAR

Hopefully keep going down . would like to see under $2 then I'll laugh and show my finger to those prius drivers

In MS, yesterday I passed the local good gas/cheap price place selling it for 2.39 (of course, this isnt considering how much Sam's has it for... probably 10-15 cents less, and how much Mobil or Shell sell it for... probably 5-10 cents more)
I have to agree with Miami. The last time I have seen it this low was way before Katrina.... so were talking at least 7-8 years ago

(btw, for those of you that are unaware... gas prices are down not because of the "gubmint", but because of the price of oil.... at least 1/2 or more of the price of a gallon of gas is tax. The only time the gov't dropped the tax on it was once and that was right before of the president re-election during that summer.... interesting.....)

We actually might see the return of the middle class again

OPEC did not decrease production when prices fell. The thought is they want to wash out the US based shale oil production which I read must be at $90/barrel to be profitable. Either way I couldn't care, as long as gas prices are down!

Costco in New Orleans is $2.30 for regular, but $2.60 for premium (there's one place lower). We refine oil in the State, extremely close to New Orleans. Prices should be lower here, but I believe NC/SC have lower prices. Not sure how that works.
The sitting President has nothing to do with oil prices, despite what people think. Also, the highest was 2008, while Bush was in office & promptly plummeted once Obama was elected. Then they increased, not that any one specific person in the US can effect OPEC's policies. If people think there's any agenda there, we'd have $8/gal pricing by now...
Gas buddy is a great app if you have a smart phone (who doesn't, it's almost 2015). Can't beat having a pricing chart on hand, as well as all locations. For those few lucky people with Duramax H2s, there's also the option to view diesel prices.

I've been told $40 a barrel is the break even point. I don't mind a higher price for oil as I work in the industry and it assures I have a job. Between the H2 and two modified Camaros I'm not too concerned with gas prices.
On topic it's between 2.45-2.49 for 87 and 2.99 for 93 here in S. Texas.
