Hi, I am new to the forum. I'm located in Cairo, Egypt. I am in the process of buying two 1996 H1s, a wagon and a 2 door pickup. Both are 6.5l diesel with an auto transmission.Both will require a full restoration job. I intend to bring them back to factory condition with some upgrades. I have posted a thread in the H1 section seeking some info.

Welcome to the forums, post some pics when you get them restored..

 

TKF, welcome to the forum. I answered your post in the H1 forum so check there. Are your Hummers the turbo 6.5L or the NAs? The trucks are cool. Hope you bought them cheap beacuse shipping them over to the States and getting full restorations won't be cheap. You will love the trucks.

Thank you gentlemen for the warm welcome. I hope I will not be bothering you with all my questions as I am not very well informed on H1 matters.

 

There is a third '96 H1 pickup for sale......same 6.5l diesel engine, manual transmission. I did not buy it, I just bought the two.

 

A white 2003 H1 truck ( built for the gov. ) just sold on Ebay for about 31K needed a little work but pretty unique find.
