Hey, im new here. I drive a '03 Mitsubishi Evo... and looking to get maybe a H2 in the future.

Just have a question though. Is there any way to improve the H2 gas mileage? maybe through some tuning? Im really looking to get 12-15mph and particularly dont want the H3... and rather have the bigger H2.

Thanks.

I,m getting 12mpg city on my 03 H2. I,m sure you can get more with some tuning, cold air intake and exhaust.

12, maybe, but don't plan on 15 with an H2. it's an aerodynamic brick, and mileage isn't what it's about. if you want mileage wait for 2 years and get a diesel.

Why not get the H3? A little better gas mileage, go with the Alpha and you get the 8 cylinder engine.

evo to h2, thats a bigggg difference going from an i4 2 liter turbo engine to a v8 6 liter, 0-60 in the 4`s or 5`s and then going to like 10`s wont be fun for you, im sure u could get 14 mpg with cold air intake exhaust

Yeah... My car right now is a mid to high 12 second car and I know it will be a big difference. I could always supercharge the H2... lol.

You dont buy a H2 do go fast or get gas milage. IMO you get a H2 because you want to go where most cannot or you want the biggest best looking pavement crawler on the maket and you dont give a **** about gas. If you can afford a Hummer you can Afford the gas.

Welcome to the forums. I was a rice racer back in the day as well. I miss it at times but I will take my hummer over my ricer anyday.
